MAC Pro Longwear Lipglass in Whoops!

Here goes nothing!

Until recently, I have been living my life as a make up obsessed but very poor student. For years I have been watching make up gurus on YouTube and reading beauty blogs and have fallen in love with their extensive collection of premium make brands such as MAC, Bobbi Brown, Chanel and YSL. However, I could never justify spending that amount on make up when my income was so little so you can only imagine my excitement when I got my first wage in from my first full time job and decided to treat myself. My first stop? Harvey Nichols in Edinburgh to get me some MAC! It was literally like taking a child to Disneyland. I picked up some staples like foundation and concealer but my ultimate buy of the day has to be their Pro Longwear Lipglass in Whoops!

Not only is the name hilarious but is a beautiful Coral Pink which is perfect for the summer. The colour does look a lot more red in the pictures but it applies so well and, for a lip gloss, the colour is so bold.

I have to admit I felt slightly wrong paying £15 for a lip gloss but it certainly does what it says on the tin. I applied this before going to work and, whilst there was slight fading, the colour lasted all day which is more than can be said for other lip glosses that melt off after 10 minutes. I was really impressed with this product but think when I make my next trip to the MAC counter I will go for some nice neutral shades as I think they would like gorgeous over a nude lipstick for a more wearable day time look. What colours do you guys recommend? Leave me a comment below!

Thanks so much for reading!

First ever post!

Hi Guys!

So this is my first everrrr beauty blog and first ever post! I am an aspiring make up artist who is just starting out so I thought what better way to document my career than to share my journey with everyone via a blog! What I plan to do is blog about pretty much anything beauty related like product reviews, favourites of the month, budget beauty for those that need to save the pennies and pretty much everything else in between. At the moment I am self taught but am starting make up classes in August so I can't wait to show you all my progress! As for now, let the random posts of nonsense begin!

Lots of love
Kirsty xxxx
